How is a Skin booster done?

27th April 2022

Well firstly we should probably explain what a skin booster is!

At Lumiere Clinic we use Teosyal Puresense Redensity I for all our skin booster treatments.

Redensity of Teosyal Puresense I is a proprietary hyaluronic acid blend that also includes three antioxidants, eight amino acids, two minerals, and a vitamin. It is a skin booster that aids in the healing and improvement of the skin’s dermal structure.

These hyaluronic acid injections help to compensate for natural hyaluronic acid depletion and boost collagen autoproduction to help:

– Improve skin radiance

– Improve the texture of your skin

– Make fine lines disappear

What does this treatment involve then?

Small amounts of Redensity I are equally distributed across the entire face by shallow injections. For increased comfort, the product contains lidocaine, a local anaesthetic (It’s not a scary treatment so don’t worry). It takes 10 to 20 minutes for the treatment to complete. Immediately after treatment, you may see some minor skin lumps at the injection sites, which should go away in 1-2 days. It may take a few days for any redness or swelling to go away, but it shouldn’t take more than a week.
