How can ULTRAcel Q+ help me?

26th October 2023

The fantastic thing about ULTRAcel Q+ is that it can help with either skin tightening/lifting-related issues or fat loss/contouring.

The fantastic thing about ULTRAcel Q+ is that it can help with either skin tightening/lifting-related issues or fat loss/contouring.

Don’t stress if you’re unsure; during your consultation, our aesthetic practitioner can tailor your treatment course to suit your needs…but before that, let’s look at what ULTRAcel Q+ can do.

Firstly, yes, ULTRAcel Q+ does use HIFU technology.

ULTRAcel Q+ provides high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) energy to specific layers of the skin and deeper layers, including the Superficial Muscular Aponeurotic System (SMAS). This is the layer that is usually treated during a surgical facelift.

It has two modes of action.

– The dot technology causes controlled wounding without damaging the skin’s surface. The healing process promotes the synthesis of new collagen and the remodelling of the existing collagen, resulting in skin tightening and lifting. Results usually take around three months to appear. One to three treatments may be required for optimum results, typically performed every three months. More treatments may have a more significant impact.

– The linear technology targets fat tissues depending on the treatment location, resulting in fat reduction and a more contoured shape. It usually takes four to six weeks to appear for optimum results.

What can it be used to treat?

– Sagging

 – Fine lines and wrinkles

 – Nasolabial folds

 – Jowls

 – Loose skin

 – Fat under the chin and jawline

What is the proposed course of treatment?

– Treatments should be done every three months to tighten and lift your skin. You could start with one to three treatments every three months. More treatments may have a more significant impact. Maintenance treatments are often advised once a year.

– Treatments are typically conducted every four to six weeks if you want to lose weight and sculpt your body. You could start with three treatments every four to six weeks. More treatments may have a more significant impact on optimum results.

Is there anyone who can’t have this treatment?

This treatment is not recommended if you have any of the following conditions:

– Active infection or cold sores adjacent to or on the treated location

– Keloid scarring history

– Pregnancy or breast-feeding

– An active autoimmune disease
