1. How does PRP therapy work to rejuvenate my skin?

   PRP hair treatment in Manchester uses healing powers from your own blood to rejuvenate skin. A small blood sample is taken and placed in a centrifuge to separate red blood cells from the platelet-rich plasma.

   PRP contains growth factors which help to heal and repair skin and tissue. When they are re-injected to specific treatment areas, they release the growth factors in the exact location in need of rejuvenation. The growth factors stimulate neighbouring cells causing them to proliferate, plump up the skin and increase volume.

   At the same time, the plasma signals to other cells so that they move towards the injection site. 4. How long does the treatment take?

   PRP Therapy in Manchester takes around 20-30 minutes. We usually recommend 3-6 treatments at monthly intervals to achieve the very best results for both hair loss and skin rejuvenation.

5. How long do the results last?

   The results tend to last until natural ageing occurs, and maintenance treatments are recommended to improve the longevity of the results.
