Dermal fillers in Manchester are a non-surgical, minimally invasive way of giving you a fresher and younger look.* Hyaluronic acid fillers are natural fillers and can be broken down by your own natural enzymes. The results are instant and slowly fade over time. By injecting dermal fillers into specific points of the face, we can enhance your features, lift your cheeks, and re-contour your face shape and jawline.*
Your treatment can be delivered by Dr Nicole who is a Consultant Dermatologist in Manchester, a trainer and supervisor for aesthetic treatments or Dr Kian who is a highly-qualified Plastic Surgeon.
Our aim is to help you achieve natural-looking results safely and effectively*.
At Lumiere Clinic in Manchester, we offer leading brands of hyaluronic-acid fillers (Juvederm® and Teosyal®) for the following areas:
Dermal fillers for your eyes
Dark shadows, tear-trough hollowness, fine wrinkles and enlarged lower eye bags are major concerns as they are often associated with a tired and burnt-out look. The key factors are atrophy of the fat pad below the eyes along with hollowness. Natural skin ageing and photoageing caused by sun damage also affect the quality of the skin around the eyes. Rejuvenating the skin around the eye area can help to replace volume loss below the eyes, enhance the superficial fat layer to blend in with the cheek fat zone, and improve the skin quality.
At Lumiere Clinic in Manchester, we use a specific type of filler for this area to achieve the best cosmetic result. Also, we use a cannula to avoid traumatising blood vessels therefore reducing the risk of bruising and pain.
Dermal fillers for your cheeks
One of the key features of a youthful and attractive face is the cheek area. Adequate fat pad support in our cheeks is key for a well-contoured face shape. During the course of skin ageing, the fat pads in our cheeks diminish. When combined with the effects of gravity, the upper-fat compartments in our cheeks migrate downwards toward the lower half of the face.
By injecting dermal fillers to a few points in your cheeks, we can restore the volume loss in your upper cheeks, thereby giving you a fresher and more youthful look.*

Dermal fillers for your face shape
With age, our face shape gradually changes from a youthful ‘inverted triangle’ to an aged-looking ‘upright triangle’ with volume loss, skin ageing and the effects of gravity. Filler treatments to specific points on the face and neck area can help restore your face shape.
Appropriate facial proportions can also be achieved by having dermal fillers to replace volume loss in the temples, jawline and chin.*
Lip fillers
Full lips are considered attractive and lip fillers to improve the volume and shape of your lips are a very popular treatment.
Our lips also become thinner and less defined with age. With dermal fillers, we can help you improve the definition and volume to your lips, giving you natural-looking, beautiful lips.*

Dermal fillers for your chin
Your chin is one of the key areas that determine your face shape. With just a few dermal filler injections, we can enhance the length and contour of your chin, thereby giving you a more proportionate look.*
It is always recommended to have a consultation first to discuss what you want to achieve and your expectations. We can then tailor them accordingly with the treatments that we have. Sometimes, a combination of treatments may be required to achieve best results. The appropriate treatment options will be discussed, along with the potential benefits and risks to ensure you are fully informed before going ahead with any procedure.
A consultation for dermal fillers in Manchester costs £195 but this is redeemable and deducted from your treatment fee if you decide to go ahead with it.
Hyaluronic acid is a natural skin component. It attracts and retains water to keep the skin plumped and soft. In dermal fillers, hyaluronic acid comes in the form of a gel.
We offer two leading brands of fillers which are Juvederm and Teosyal. Specific types of fillers within the range are used based on the area treated and your individual needs.
If you are new to us, we recommend a consultation first followed by the treatment at a separate visit. If you have had treatments with us before, we can perform treatments on the same day.
Dermal Filler results vary among individuals and the type of filler used. Generally, they can last from 6 months up to 18 months.
Common side effects are redness and swelling at the injection points. They can take a few hours to a few days to settle down. There is always a risk of bruising with any injection into the skin. Rarer risks include lumps, allergic reactions, infections and skin necrosis (blockage of blood vessels by fillers). There are early signs to recognise these risks, and they will be discussed at your consultation. Hyaluronic-acid fillers are reversible, and potential adverse outcome can be minimised if you are aware of what to watch out for after treatment.
We generally recommend avoiding taking ibuprofen, aspirin or supplements that can thin your blood a day or two before your treatment to minimise the risk of bleeding during the procedure and thereby reducing the risk of a bruise. After filler treatment, we recommend avoiding alcohol and vigorous exercise for a few days to reduce the risk of bruising and swelling.
