12 months following on from the Cosmelan Peel, the patient had a Dermamelan Peel in July 2022

This what the peel involves:

A medical-grade chemical peel called Dermamelan has a powerful restorative effect on skin discolouration and pigmentation. It has a mix of active ingredients that have been shown to be effective in regulating melanin overproduction, inhibiting, and managing the emergence of dark spots. The four therapy steps are spread out across a one-year skin care regimen to produce an all-around, effective result.

Day One

The was the first day of the peel.

Day Two

The was how the skin looked the day after the peel.

As you can see from the image, the skin has started to lift from the face and peel. Also note that due to the nature of the peel the skin will also swell up slightly.

Day Three

As you can see the top layer skin will start to become more flakey.

The skin will also continue to swell at the stage, but don't worry this is to be expected.

Day Four

At this stage we are now halfway through the treatment.

Here you can see the peel really start to work through the skin, removing the traces of Melasma.

Day Five

Now the top layer of skin has peeled you will start to see alight difference in the pigmentation. Once the skin has relaxed and swelling has gone you will start to see a difference in your skin.

The skin will also start to develop a slight puffiness that will ease during the healing process.

Day Seven

The final outcome. Fresh, clear skin!
